Custom design and 3D printing · Redcliff, AB
Your Idea. Designed. Made Real.
A broken part, a rough sketch, or a “can you make this?” — I take what’s in your head and print it into something real, start to finish, right here in Redcliff.
What I make
If it can be designed and printed, it’s on the table. A sample of what comes through the shop:
Custom parts
Functional or decorative, built to your spec.
One-off pieces
Something that doesn’t exist yet — made once, made right.
Idea to product
You describe it, I design it and make it real.
Sketch to model
A rough drawing drafted into a real, printable model.
Replacement and obsolete parts
Reproduce something broken or no longer made.
Prototypes
Hold the design in your hand before you commit to it.
Branded and business pieces
Logos and details built in, not stuck on. Small runs welcome.
Jigs, fixtures, and tooling
Shop and production aids built to your exact setup.
What custom design costs
Custom work starts with design, and design is where most of the time goes. A typical custom piece takes three to four hours to design, and that is before getting the file print ready and running a prototype or two to make sure it comes out right.
Design is billed at $35 per hour with a one hour minimum, so most custom projects start around $105 for the design work, before materials and printing. Simple pieces can be less, and more involved work takes longer.
If you already have a print ready file, you skip that and only pay for materials and print time.
Every project starts with a conversation and a written quote, so you know where things stand before any work begins.
